Our Client, a leading international supplier of Turbomachinery, requires an Instructor to be based in Switzerland.
Working in close liaison with the Engineering Manager & Field Service Manager, will have overall responsibility for the technical training of Company personnel & customers. Structure, coordinate, develop & provide training programs. Handle & coordinate all training issues within the company & manage the Training Centre. Providing theoretical & practical training for personnel & customer training for maintenance & operational personnel on steam turbines, centrifugal compressors as well as associated equipment.

Requirements:

|
- Candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree with at least 3 years Field Service Experience OR, 10 years working experience in the petrochemical or similar industry.
- Must be capable of handling the administrative aspects of the job.
- Ideally have previous technical training experience or a strong aptitude in this area.
- Supervisory skills needed to successfully lead engineers/representatives assigned to complement specific technical training & commercial flair & good communications skills, as position involves extensive contacts within the company & a multi-cultural customer base.
- Must have fluent English & other languages an advantage.
- Flexible, able to cope with ever changing requirements. Local & Intercontinental travel may be required from time to time to carry out training programmes at the customer''s plant (from a few days to several weeks)
- Must be willing to travel to remote locations such as desert camps & into developing nations.
